What Areas Do You Cover?
I am based in Fareham, Hampshire but will happily travel to surrounding areas.
Do You Charge Travel Expenses?
Journeys over 14 miles will require a small charge to cover fuel costs.
What Products Do You Use?
I use many different Premium brands of makeup in my kit. These are tried and tested products that I know will give the best results.
How Long Will My Makeup Last?
I always prime the face, lips and eyes and use premium products to ensure that the makeup is very long lasting. I would recommend taking your own powder and lipstick/gloss for touch ups in the evening though.
What Happens At The Trial?
At the trial I will chat with you and ask a few questions to determine the style or look of makeup that you would like to achieve. I can advise you on particular colours and looks to suit your complexion, face shape and colour sceme etc. I will then apply the makeup as I would on the day, making sure that you are very happy with the final look.
At the trial I will also discuss timings for the day to make sure that everything will flow smoothly and that we have plenty of time to get everyone ready.
How Much Time Do You Allocate For Each Makeup?
On the day I would allocate a minimum of one hour for the bride and 35-45 minutes each for bridesmaids and other adults. A very detailed makeup with lashes may take longer but this is something I can discuss with you at the trial.
How Soon Before The Wedding Should I Have My Trial?
I don’t like to do the trial too far in advance as I like it fresh in my mind. I would usually recommend 1-2 months before the event. I always make a note of the exact products used and take a photo so that I can refer back to these before the day.
